Luxury Event & Experience Design · South Florida

We design celebrations that feel like the people at their heart.

For milestone birthdays, first birthdays, showers, anniversaries, and the family moments meant to be remembered.

We never begin with a theme — we begin with the person at the heart of the celebration. Design · Styling · Experience Curation
The Work

They don’t look alike. They feel alike.

No two celebrations share a palette, a theme, or an age — only a way of seeing. So the work is gathered not by occasion, but by the truth it was designed to protect.

Moments Curated
Luxury Is Feeling Known.

Long after the decorations are gone, the memories remain — so we begin not with a theme, but with a person.

The Collections

Three ways a celebration is designed, and remembered.

Not three packages, but three worlds to move through — each with its own atmosphere, and each growing with the number of designed focal moments it holds. The question isn't which to choose. It's which memory you want to create.

01 The Signature Moment
For families who believe being deeply known matters more than being impressive.
Intimate · One designed focal moment
The intimate milestone, thoughtfully curated.

A first birthday, a shower, a milestone meant to feel personal — one beautifully composed focal moment: a custom concept, a designed backdrop, personal signage, styled with intention and made to be remembered.

Picture your daughter walking into a room that quietly feels as though it was created only for her.

02 The Curated Luxe Experience
For families who believe everyone they love should feel it, not only the person at the center.
Immersive · Multiple connected focal moments
A larger celebration, composed of many focal moments.

For the milestones that ask for more — multiple focal areas, statement design, expanded installations, and enhanced personalization, so every corner of the celebration feels considered.

The Experience

A celebration this personal begins before the design.

A thoughtful, guided process for celebrations that should feel personal, beautiful, and deeply cared for.

I.
We learn the person

Before palette, backdrop, or table, we learn who the celebration is for — the details others overlook are where it begins.

II.
We shape the world

Every focal moment, texture, sign, flower, and detail is chosen to belong to them — and to no one else.

III.
You live inside it

On the day itself, the design is held for you — so you can be present for the people you love.

A warm portrait of Janet Velez
The Studio
Founded by Janet Velez.

Moments Curated is built on a simple belief — that celebrations should feel personal before they feel impressive.

Nothing here is anonymous. Every celebration is shaped by Janet’s own hand — her eye for what matters, and her belief that no one should have to carry their most meaningful day alone.

“I ask about the person long before I ask about the party.”
Janet Velez · Founder & Creative Director
Character is easier to show than to claim.

A few true things about how Janet works — not what she has done, but how she pays attention.

The first question she asks
“Tell me about them. Who are they, and what makes them feel most like themselves?”

Not the age, the color, or the theme. Before any of that, she wants the person underneath — what they light up over, what they do for others, what they would never ask for themselves.

What she listens for
“People tell me what they want. I listen for what they mean.”

For her own daughter Vanessa’s first birthday — a little girl born early, whose first year felt especially precious — the theme was “ONEder the Sea.” But what Janet heard underneath was tenderness. So the ocean stopped being a theme and became an atmosphere: softer palette, rounder shapes, gentler light. No one asked for that. It was what the celebration meant.

What she will not compromise
“What can we remove, so the person becomes even more visible?”

Budgets shift and plans change; she can always redesign. What she protects is the feeling that the celebration was made for the one at its center. Given the choice between more decoration and more meaning, she chooses meaning — keeping every detail that draws the eye to the person, and letting go of anything that only fills the room.

What is always with her
A notebook — not for sketches, but for what she notices.

A sentence someone said. A color that held a memory. A detail she doesn’t want to lose. It is full of unfinished things, because attention is fragile — and sometimes a line written months ago becomes the reason a celebration feels personal. She collects before she composes.

Now think of the person you came here for.

The hope is simple — that someone else might notice what matters about them, the way you already do.

Stories · The First Chapters
The first chapter isn’t written yet.

Stories will live here — not of what we designed, but of what became true because a family chose to celebrate this way. A tradition begun by accident. A sentence a child keeps for years. The celebration only made it possible.

Somewhere in your family, a story already deserves to be remembered this way.
